Stepper positioning systems offer exceptional torque and accuracy, with the simplicity and versatility to suit a wide range of applications. The key to getting the most performance is to choose a high-quality motor and pair it with the optimum stepper drive for your particular application requirements. Kollmorgen offers stepper motor drives with the versatility, ease-of-use and cost-effectiveness to suit virtually any stepper positioning application. With microstepping capabilities and no need for feedback systems, these stepper drives offer servo-like positioning with less complexity and a lower total cost. Our stepper drives are available for 120/240 Vac and 20–75 Vdc power input. With a wide output power range, they provide the features and performance required for challenging stepper applications such as indexing, X-Y and X-Y-Z positioning, conveying, machine tools, robotics and more. Modular stepper drives in the P5000 Series provide a compact, cost-effective solution for applications where an external DC power source is available. They are generally used where the driver will be directly integrated into the machine, or in systems where drivers for multiple axes will share a common DC power supply. Packaged stepper drives in the P6000 and P7000 Series incorporate their own DC power supply along with the motor drive in a full enclosure. These stand-alone units operate directly from the facility’s AC power, providing motion control that’s easy to implement and configure for nearly any application. The P7000 Series also includes auto-tuning and motion profiling for the ultimate in functionality, smoothness, high-speed performance and innovation. |
The P7000 drives offer unsurpassed system smoothness, functionality, performance and innovation. Available for AC(P70360) or DC(P70530) operation, these microstepping drives are designed to power 2-phase NEMA stepper motors. They offer unique features that are ideal for single or multi-axis applications requiring high-speed performance or low-speed smoothness. KOLLMORGEN : Stepper Drives - P5000
